For quite a while, I thought that blogs were a means of making people read your views and ideas or anything that you find interesting and suited for others to read.
Some posts later, I have realized that, more than anything, blogging acts as a means for the blogger to know what (s)he feels, what (s)he thinks and what are his/her opinions about various issues, or products or people, pretty much about anything. It brings his/her subconscious thoughts to the forefront and actually allows oneself to analyze them further and build opinions based on them. The topics on which one writes are something, about which one has thoughts in his/her mind and wants to pen them down. However, the incentive of the audience is always there, but what I want to stress is that, lack of a large audience would not spell doom.
This sort of thing is not new, for we had people writing their diaries (blogs are sometimes also referred to as online diaries) from ancient times. But the aspects which have changed are quite phenomenal. Previously, though the diary writing was not that of a secret affair, a conscious effort was made by the writers to restrict the contents to themselves. These days, one has become more open and wants – or atleast does not mind – others reading his mind in the form of the thoughts he wants to share.
Also, the convenience of doing all these things has attracted people towards it. Unlike before, when it was almost impossible to make available your daily accounts for others, blogs have overcome this aspect. You no longer need to bind together your ideas into a book to be published and made available, you can just post them at your convenience – in terms of size, time etc. - and others can ravish them.
What I increasingly find myself doing is that any situation I experience, in my mind I try to make it into a post for my blog, with the title and everything. Sometime I feel that by posting it, I would be able to refer to it in the future and may be learn, and thereby gain from it. But, I realize that the actual aim of writing is to make a permanent impression about it in the mind, so that you never have to refer to it, and it gets imbibed.

Learnings in Life!
Many a times, here are things which have a hype created around them. And when you actually encounter them, they are nowhere close to what was being said of them. For e.g. many books (like Alchemist, The Monk who sold his Ferrari etc.) are very famous and are selling in huge numbers even after being in the market for quite a while now. I have read the two books mentioned above and was utterly disappointed. I just could not understand what all the fuss is about. The books have a lot of knowledge about life, how to lead your life etc. I believe everyone knows what about these things. Mostly people are aware of what is good and what is not so good; what one should do (ideally) and what one should refrain from doing.
It is when one goes to the groundwork of implementing things (in their life or elsewhere) that people are not good at. So, whatever you are trying to teach them is redundant and the area where people have issues (namely, implementation) cannot be taught. It has to come from within. People are just being fooled when the authors and publishers mint money. The problem with the authors (and for that matter many of the modern sages) is that while they say that one should not run after the materialistic world, their aim of doing that is to get all the worldly pleasures for themselves.

Handwriting analysis.
I just came through this. I found it really interesting so decided to post.
http://handwritingwizard.com/analysis.php
And here it is...
ps: i have no clue as to how reliable and true it is!
This personality profile is based on the writing of Surbhi Jain created at the website: Handwriting Wizard.com - Handwriting University's Official automated personality report creator based on standardized basic personality traits as taught through Handwriting University's Certification Level Program.
Surbhi is moderately outgoing. Her emotions are stirred by sympathy and heart rendering stories. In fact, she can be kind, friendly, affectionate and considerate of others. She has the ability to put herself into the other person's shoes.
Surbhi will be somewhat moody, with highs and lows. Sometimes she will be happy, the next day she might be sad. She has the unique ability to get along equally well with what psychology calls introverts and extroverts. This is because she is in between. Psychology calls Surbhi an ambivert. She understands the needs of both types. Although they get along, she will not tolerate anyone that is too "far out." She doesn't sway too far one way or the other.
When convincing her to buy a product or an idea, a heart rendering story could mean a great deal to her. She puts herself in the same situation as the person in the story, yet she will not buy anything that seems overly impractical or illogical. Surbhi is an expressive person. She outwardly shows her emotions. She may even show traces of tears when hearing a sad story.
Surbhi is a "middle-of-the-roader," politically as well as logically. She weighs both sides of an issue, sits on the fence, and then will decide when she finally has to. She basically doesn't relate to any far out ideas and usually won't go to the extreme on any issue.
People that write very large tend to be very social and friendly. It seems Surbhi has this type of writing. This indicates a need for people and a particular natural ability to socialize and be the life of the party. Now, if Surbhi also has specific fears (like fear of criticism or fear of trust) then she will deny she is the life of the party, because fear has overcome her natural inclination to be social. People with large handwriting tend to be effective at anything that requires interaction with lots of people. she is a people person.
Surbhi will demand respect and will expect others to treat her with honor and dignity. Surbhi believes in her ideas and will expect other people to also respect them. She has a lot of pride.
Surbhi is talkative. She enjoys talking and socializing. She may talk when there is absolutely nothing important to say. She enjoys speaking.
Because Surbhi has zigzagged shaped 'm' and 'n' hump, Surbhi is an analytical thinker. Her mind sifts and examines facts. She interprets all facts by separating them, breaking them down, and organizing them from a critical point of view. This pattern of clarifying facts contributes to her strong reasoning ability. Surbhi's mind is constantly analyzing all situations that she encounters.
Surbhi is a practical person whose goals are planned, practical, and down to earth. This is typical of people with normal healthy self-esteem. She needs to visualize the end of a project before she starts. she finds joy in anticipation and planning. Notice that I said she plans everything she is going to do, that doesn't necessarily mean things go as planned. Surbhi basically feels good about herself. She has a positive self-esteem which contributes to her success. She feels she has the ability to achieve anything she sets her mind to. However, she sets her goals using practicality-- not too "out of reach". She has enough self-confidence to leave a bad situation, yet, she will not take great risks, as they relate to her goals. A good esteem is one key to a happy life. Although there is room for improvement in the confidence catagery, her self-perception is better than average.
Surbhi is sarcastic. This is a defense mechanism designed to protect her ego when she feels hurt. She pokes people harder than she gets poked. These sarcastic remarks can be very funny. They can also be harsh, bitter, and caustic at the same time.
Surbhi has a healthy imagination and displays a fair amount of trust. She lets new people into her circle of friends. She uses her imagination to understand new ideas, things, and people.
Surbhi exaggerates about everything that has a physical nature. Although she may not intend to deceive or mislead, she blows things way out of proportion because that is the way she views them. She will be a good story teller. This exaggeration relates to all areas of her material world. Surbhi allows many people into her life because she is accepting and trusting. She is sometimes called gullible by her friends. That only really means that she trusts too many people. Surbhi has a vivid imagination.
For a graphologist, the spacing on the page reflects the writer's attitude toward their own world and relationship to things in his or her own space. If the inputted data was correct Surbhi has left lots of white space on the left side of the paper. Surbhi fills up the rest of the page in a normal fashion. If this is true, then Surbhi has a healthy relationship to the past and is ready to move on. The right side of the page represents the future and Surbhi is ready and willing to get started living now and planning for the future. Surbhi would like to leave the past behind and move on.

reflection,

My 3rd Year at College
Had thought that the year would be chill
Included in it would be all non-academic frill
The start has not been that good
Had more time to vile away, I wish I could
The number of classes are more than last year
Though of exams, there is less fear
Yet the classes have been strategically staggered
I want all of them to get gathered
So that half my days are fully free
And I can be all up and glee
But the intentions of the administration seem otherwise
3rd year seems smaller brother of 2nd year in disguise
This is when I dont have any of those courses
Which to study, the subject forces
And still I don't understand where my time goes
Just hoping that someone lessens the dose...

Stay in touch!
Conversations... atleast the long ones... always leave me with the longing for more...
Being a little busy in past few days with my college internals and entrances, it gave me no time to stay in contact with any of my friends. It sounds awkward to me that I didn't even talk to my best friend for a long period of time and surprisingly, I didn’t even feel the need as it always does!
Needless to say that the realization of how few of those conversations I've had in the past few days really gives me a sinking feeling... of how it will be in the future, when all of us will get busier, trying to fight our way to our professional goals...
It all sounds good in books and movies that relationships are a thing of the heart, and they are never lost... blah blah blah... but in reality, it is essential to keep in touch...
So here's to all my friends... I hope we all stay in touch...
"Someone remembers, someone cares;
Your name is whispered in someone’s prayers."

I grow cold...
All your words,
Worth their weight in gold.
The times we spent together,
And we grew old.
All those moments where I blindly trusted you,
And closed my eyes.
Thinking that's you in real,
And not some disguise.
All those doubts,
That I put to rest.
Thinking you would give me nothing else,
But only your best.
And you chose to walk away,
Without an inkling of remorse.
Putting my faith to test,
Leaving me clueless in a forest so dense.
I thought you were my sunshine,
To stare the clouds of gloom away.
But you led me to my loss of innocence,
As I grow cold every day.
Worth their weight in gold.
The times we spent together,
And we grew old.
All those moments where I blindly trusted you,
And closed my eyes.
Thinking that's you in real,
And not some disguise.

Lost...
As I stand in the shadows of solitude
Crying tears for all that's lost...
Lost hope still lingers around
Wish I could let it go...
I’ve tried everything I could
I can’t seem to erase the pain
That is clogging my arteries...
That’s stopping me to breathe...
I should stop looking
I should stop trusting
That things will happen when they are meant to
Coz waiting generates anxieties
What if it never comes?
Where shall I place this trust?
Not in myself...
Not again...
I thought I could do this
Thought I could succeed...
But it’s all shattered now...
The worst feeling is that
I have nothing to show
The feelings are there,
But the words refuse to come out...
I want to be alone…
Not even friends
To gather the hope...
To come back to life…
Crying tears for all that's lost...
Lost hope still lingers around
Wish I could let it go...
I’ve tried everything I could
I can’t seem to erase the pain
That is clogging my arteries...
That’s stopping me to breathe...
