Those who have a lot of things going through their mind
Those looking for peace and quiet
turn their backs to the world
Face the sea,
legs dangling from the platform.
Sit by that seaside
with chana, chai and seengdana
Watching the full moon, the high tides
street lights and the buzzing traffic...
As the water lashes the beach
cool breeze making you tremble
Sea waves reaching the pavement
breeze brushing up your face...
With all the happy people around
and a lot of romance in the air
Winds lift up your spirit
and unload your mind....!!
Winds lift up your spirit
and unload your mind....!!

Yes, you said it correctly. Somehow, sea brings out the hidden emotions out and makes us feel good. We feel rejuvenated. It's like a refreshing mantra. Thanks for sharing :)
I haven't been to Bombay recently but I'm reading Shantaram and you described Marine Drive almost as well Gregory David Roberts has.
Well written, Surbhi.
:)
Hey nice creation! Marine drive is one of my fav places. Specially Nariman Point and the place near Ambassador Hotel. I have spent some best of the times with friends, chatting, taking long and short view on life and then ending up saying, "chill maar yaar, hum hamesha saath rahenge, no matter where we go"
Ending up the outting mostly at Jazz by the bay and Baskin Robins... man you reminded me of my friends!
Keep blogging!
